He is the Artistic Director for Melbourne Saxophone and the Melbourne International Saxophone Festival, and was the artistic and programming assistant for<em> <\/em>the 2015 World Saxophone Congress and Festival in Strasbourg, France. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joseph has performed with the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra and was a soloist with Melbourne&#8217;s <em>Pro Musica Orchestra <\/em>performing <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vV3Bq_o4VIw&amp;t=750s\" target=\"_blank\">Chu Wanghua&#8217;s <em>Concerto for Saxophone and Orchestra<\/em><\/a><em>. <\/em>Joseph is engaged to perform this concerto with the Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra in China in December, 2019. Joseph is a member of the esteemed chamber music ensemble Collide<em> <\/em>with cellist Yelian He and pianist Yasmin Rowe<em>, <\/em>as well as Duo Obax with oboist Briana Leaman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joseph has performed and given master classes in Paris at the Cit\u00e9 Internationale des Arts and the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Ch\u00e2telet, Singapore\u2019s Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Saxophone Symposium and the Lasalle Contemporary School of the Arts, Tennessee\u2019s Vanderbilt University, The University of South Carolina, The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Adelaide\u2019s Elder Conservatorium of Music and The Monash Sir Zelman School of Music, The Australian Saxophone Retreat, and The Strasbourg Conservatorium of Music. In 2019 Joseph has performances in the USA, China, Thailand, Singapore, and throughout Australia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joseph is a graduate of\nThe University of Melbourne (Barry Cockroft &amp; Ian Godfrey), the Bordeaux\nConservatoire de Musique (Marie-Bernadette Charrier), and the Strasbourg Haute\n\u00c9cole des Arts du Rhin (Philippe Geiss). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An advocate of new music and combination ensembles, he\nhas performed World Premiers by Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Zygel, T\u00f3mas Gubitsch, May Lyon,\nJavier Mu\u00f1oz-Bravo, Franck Tortiller,&nbsp;Mark Phillips, Aaron Gallagher,\nKeyna Wilkins, Luke Severn, the French premiere of Roger Boutry\u2019s <em>Concerto for Alto and\nSoprano Saxophone<\/em>, and numerous Australian Premieres.
