Kevin Zhao Jiaqi

Jiaqi (Kevin) Zhao is a saxophone instructor at the China Conservatory of Music. He received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Saxophone Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music.

Kevin was invited to perform and teach masterclasses at many institutions and events, including Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, Wuhan Conservatory of Music, The Music School of Suzhou University and at the World Saxophone Congress. As a soloist, he has performed with the Eastman Graduate Orchestra, Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and Chinese Symphonic Orchestra.

Kevin has also won prizes at the LISMA Woodwind Competition (2013), Vandoren Emerging Artist Competition (2015), the 5th Jean-Marie LONDEIX International Saxophone Competition (2017) and Music Teacher National Association Solo Competition (2019).
