He is also involved in the development of the saxophone scene in Singapore as musical director for the Prot\u00e9g\u00e9 Saxophone Ensemble since 2017. He spent his 2 years of national service at the Singapore Police Force Band where he also took up responsibilities as a Saxophone and Music Theory teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>He is an active participant of the annual Singapore Saxophone Symposium, and has worked with ensembles such as The Philharmonic Orchestra Singapore, NAFA Orchestra, the Royal Academy of MUsic Orchestra, the Prot\u00e9g\u00e9 Saxophone Ensemble, and is a founding member of the New Meta Quartet. Johann has performed with the New Meta Quartet in various venues in China such as the Soochow University, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and the Tianjin Conservatory of music.
