SRMC Saxophone Ensemble<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The SRMC Saxophone Octet was formed in 2024 and consists of students from the Singapore Raffles Music College under the guidance and direction of Dr Leslie Wong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the octet have been invited to perform and participate in academic exchanges in Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Zhaoqing University, Minnan Normal University, and Gulangyu Music School in Xiamen. They have also been invited to participate at the 2023 Prot\u00e9g\u00e9 concert, 2024 Asia Pacific Saxophone Academy (APSA) and 2025 Singapore International Saxophone Summit. Members of the octet also actively participate in community outreach events, including performances at the Singapore AIA Medical Partner Appreciation Dinner and events by The Red Pencil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, members of the octet were awarded First Prize in the preliminary round of the International Soli & Ensemble Competition Singapore, and won the Gold Award at the Suzhou International Music Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
