Kenny Tsai

Kenny Chia-Hsiu Tsai was born in Chang-hua, Taiwan. He holds a Masters degree in Saxophone Performance from the Bowling Green State University, Ohio. Mr. Tsai was awarded as a new artist at the 9^th Hamamatsu International Wind Instrument Academy & Festival, where he performed Edison Denisov’s Sonata for saxophone & piano at the Hamamatsu Concert Hall.

Tsai has collaborated with many symphonic orchestras and wind orchestras as a soloist in Taiwan, and has travelled to many countries to perform in concerts. He dedicates himself to the development of modern music and saxophone education in Taiwan.

Mr. Tsai is a saxophone instructor at the National Chiao Tung University, National Taiwan Normal University, National Taiwan University of Arts, and Taipei National University of Arts, among others. He is an endorser of Yamaha saxophones and Legere reeds.
